World Book Day

On #WorldBookDay, we've compiled a list of some things to look out for while your child is reading, that could indicate they’re having vision issues.

While reading a book (or a screen), my child…

  • squints when looking at the page

  • holds the book close to their face

  • complains of having a headache

  • tells you they have sore eyes

  • tilts their head to one side

  • covers one eye while focusing on the page

  • rubs their eyes a lot

  • complains of words or pictures looking blurry

If you notice any of these behaviors or think your child is having vision problems, schedule an appointment with us. The earlier you address your child’s vision issues, the better.
